Scott, a Torrance, California native, developed a passion for aviation at an early age while watching airplanes with his grandfather. That passion quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit after he had the privilege of sitting in Torrance Parker’s Travel Air biplane—an experience that solidified his dream of building a career in aviation.

 

Driven by a dedication to aircraft repair and performance, Scott spent years developing his expertise while serving in multiple roles at Zamperini Field beginning in 2019. In 2025, he proudly founded Brownlie Aviation with a commitment to safety, precision, and exceptional service.

 

In less than a year, Scott’s reputation for aviation safety, accurate repairs, quality maintenance, and outstanding customer care has set Brownlie Aviation apart. The company proudly serves as the sole maintenance provider for the nationally recognized Tiger Squadron, led by Craig Ekberg, as well as Rolling Hills Aviation Flight School. Understanding the urgency and complexity of aircraft maintenance, Scott established an on-call system to assist customers with after-hours and weekend aviation needs, providing timely solutions when they matter most.

 

Outside of aviation, Scott enjoys outdoor adventures including fishing and camping, along with what his wife jokingly calls his favorite hobby—fixing anything that breaks. As a husband and father, Scott brings the same values of integrity, commitment, and reliability to his work, ensuring customers can trust Brownlie Aviation to deliver dependable service with care and professionalism.
